Meet the team behind this journey At DeepL, we're on an exciting adventure to expand our operations to match our ambitious growth plans. At the heart of this journey is our Sales team, a cornerstone of DeepL's market expansion and customer engagement strategy. Our mission is clear: to build and develop high-performing sales teams that embody DeepL's innovative spirit and drive for excellence. As a member of our Sales team, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth and expanding our global reach. Working in close partnership with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams, you will collaborate to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of our clients. As a Sales Support Specialist at DeepL, you'll be the first line of support for our global sales organisation — over 250 Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives and Customer Success Managers. You'll be the person a salesperson turns to when something is blocking a deal, and the one who makes sure it gets resolved. Your responsibilities Own the Sales Operations support channel in Slack for your region, answering questions from sales teams and keeping the queue moving Take each request end to end — diagnose it, fix what you can, and pull in the right people from Operations, Salesforce Administration or Finance when you can't Help sellers navigate Salesforce: opportunities, quotes, accounts and the sales process Investigate and correct data quality issues before they hold up a deal Build simple documentation and guides so sellers can help themselves next time Flag recurring issues to the team so we can fix root causes rather than the same symptom twice Provide extended support at quarter-end and year-end, when deal volume peaks. On the final day of the quarter this means being available until 11pm UK time as we work to the signing cut-off — your first will be year-end, 31 December Qualities we look for 2-4 years experience in sales support, sales operations, revenue operations or CRM administration. Working knowledge of Salesforce, or a comparable CRM, and a good feel for how a sales process runs A genuine service mindset with clear boundaries: you'll help a seller solve their problem and show them how to do it themselves. Ownership. When something lands with you, you drive it to a resolution Comfortable working conversationally in Slack, holding several threads at once, and staying calm when the queue is long Strong attention to detail, particularly where data accuracy affects revenue Excellent written and verbal English, and able to explain a process to someone who just wants their deal to close Based in the UK, able to work from our London office around two days a week, and willing to work extended hours at quarter-end and year-end Exposure to billing systems (ChargeBee, Zuora or similar) and how they connect to a CRM. What we offer Diverse and internationally distributed team: joining our team means becoming part of a large, global community with people of more than 90 nationalities. We're more than just colleagues; we're a group of professionals with a shared mission to connect diverse cultures. Our global presence is growing–we've doubled in size nearly every year, with our employees based in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the US, and Japan, and we continue to expand our network. Open communication, regular feedback: as a language-focused company, we value the importance of clear, honest communication. We value smooth collaboration, direct and actionable feedback, and believe that leading with empathy and growth mindset makes us better together. Hybrid work, flexible hours: we offer a hybrid work schedule, with team members coming into the office twice a week. This allows you to engage directly with your team and experience the unique energy of our workspace, while still enjoying the flexibility and comfort of working from home. With flexible working hours and trust in your productivity, we are in sync with your team’s general locations and time zones to foster effective and seamless collaboration. Regular in-person team events: we bond over vibrant events that are as unique as our team, from local team and business unit gatherings, to new-joiner onboardings, to company-wide events that bring us all together–literally. Monthly full-day hacking sessions: every month, we have Hack Fridays, where you can spend your time diving into a project you're passionate about and get the opportunity to work with other teams–we value your initiatives, impact, and creativity. 30 days of annual leave: we value your peace of mind. With 30 days off (excluding public holidays) and access to mental health resources, we make sure you're as strong mentally as you are professionally. Competitive benefits: just as our team spans the globe, so does our benefits package. We've crafted it to reflect the diversity of our team and tailored it to align with your unique location, to ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
