The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to own and help build a scalable renewal motion for our Scaled Customer Success segment: protecting revenue and ensuring contracts reach a signed outcome ahead of expiry.
As our first dedicated Renewals Specialist, you’ll manage the end-to-end commercial renewal process for a high-volume portfolio of Enterprise customers, typically €20k–50k ARR, with around 60 renewals per quarter. You’ll work closely with our Scaled CSMs while helping us build the processes, operating rhythms, and automation that will allow renewals to scale as n8n grows. You'll usually work with billing/procurement contacts and the n8n champion on the account (often a technical user or engineer).
What you'll do
Own renewals end-to-end. Prepare and send renewal quotes, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, manage procurement and contractual back-and-forth, create order forms, coordinate signatures, and ensure completed contracts are accurately processed in our CRM and billing systems.
Manage a high-volume renewal pipeline. Keep around 60 renewals per quarter progressing with clear next steps, accurate renewal dates, and enough lead time to avoid preventable last-minute slippage.
Partner with CSMs on renewal risk. Work closely with Scaled CSMs to understand customer health, identify potential churn or commercial risk early, and determine the right path to renewal.
Keep the forecast accurate. Maintain reliable renewal forecasts, close-plan notes, and CRM hygiene so we have a clear view of upcoming renewals and revenue retention.
Build a more scalable renewal motion. Identify where processes break down or create unnecessary manual work, and improve the workflows, templates, operating rhythms, and automation behind them.
Navigate the business independently. Partner with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success to resolve commercial or contractual blockers and keep renewals moving.
Requirements
Must-haves
🔄 B2B SaaS renewals experience: You’ve owned commercial renewals, account management, or a commercially focused Customer Success portfolio in B2B SaaS, including negotiating contracts and renewals with business customers.
📚 High-volume portfolio management: You’ve managed a sizeable book of customers and are comfortable keeping dozens of commercial conversations moving simultaneously. Experience with smaller Enterprise accounts and roughly €20k–50k ARR contracts is particularly relevant.
🤝 Commercial & contractual confidence: You’re comfortable negotiating pricing and terms and navigating the practical mechanics of SaaS renewals — quotes, order forms, procurement, legal review, approvals, and signatures.
📈 Operational rigor: You manage your renewal pipeline with discipline. Forecasts, dates, next steps, and CRM data stay accurate, and you take ownership of getting contracts closed on time.
🚀 High-growth startup experience: You’ve worked in a fast-growing environment where processes change quickly, ownership is high, and the answer isn't always already documented.
🛠️ Builder mindset: You don't just execute a process — you notice where it isn't working and help improve it. You’re comfortable creating structure while doing the work at the same time.
🤖 Automation mindset: You’re interested in using automation and AI to eliminate repetitive work and make high-volume processes more scalable.
Nice-to-haves
⚡ Scaled Customer Success experience: You’ve worked in a high-volume or scaled CS/renewals model before.
🏢 Exposure to a mature renewals function: You’ve seen what strong renewal processes look like at a larger SaaS company and can bring some of those learnings into an earlier-stage environment.
🛠️ Relevant tooling: Experience with CRM, CS, or renewals tooling such as Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar.
🤖 n8n experience: You’ve used n8n or another workflow automation platform and are excited about what automation can do.
Why join us?
At n8n, you won’t be stepping into a fully established renewal function - you’ll help create it.
Our Scaled Customer Success team is still relatively new, while the number of customers and renewals we manage is growing quickly. As our first dedicated renewals hire for this segment, you’ll have real influence over how we structure the renewal process, what we automate, and how we manage retention efficiently as we scale.
This is an opportunity to combine hands-on commercial ownership with building something from the ground up. You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Legal, and you'll be able to see the direct impact of your work on our customers and revenue.
We’re particularly interested in using AI and automation to scale the function without simply adding more headcount, so if you enjoy finding smarter ways to eliminate repetitive work and improve processes, you’ll have plenty of room to experiment.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on? Apply now and help us build the renewal motion that will support n8n’s next stage of growth.
