Project Manager - Propulsion

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex propulsion projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive projects from requirements definition through design, manufacture, testing, qualification, and delivery. This role is suited to someone with proven experience delivering projects in defence, space, rocketry, missile programmes, or another technically demanding aerospace environment. You will work closely with propulsion, chemistry, manufacturing, test, systems, quality, and operations teams to deliver reliable hardware safely and efficiently. About us We’re a Germany-based rocketry startup currently in stealth mode, scaling up rapidly to meet the demand for high-performance, reliable, and scalable solid propulsion technologies for space and defence applications. We are already launching suborbital and ballistic rockets on a regular basis, generating significant revenue and applying our knowledge toward the development of an orbital rocket. We are working hard to build something truly spectacular. To thrive here you will need to be comfortable working at pace, with the autonomy to make decisions and execute on them quickly. If you’re excited by hard technical challenges and want a role where you will make a real difference each day to the future of the company, we may be the place for you. At our company, job titles and career progression are earned, not determined by years of experience alone. They reflect the responsibility you take on and the dedication you bring to each project. If you’re ready to rise to the challenge, we’d love to hear from you. Key responsibilities Own propulsion projects from initial requirements through design, manufacture, testing, qualification, and delivery. Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and milestones. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous or fast-changing situations. A degree in engineering, science, project management, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be relevant. Desirable experience Managing propulsion projects, solid rocket motor development, or other complex aerospace hardware programmes. Static-fire testing, flight qualification, launch campaigns, or other high-consequence test activities. Missile, defence, spacecraft, launch-vehicle, or other regulated programme delivery. Taking hardware from development into repeatable manufacture, production, or operational deployment. Systems engineering, configuration management, verification and validation, or qualification processes.
